The Grange Eight...

SAFETY

Our children need everyone who comes into our school to know and understand their absolute right to feel safe - physically and emotionally safe, so everyone is free to learn and grow.

RESPECT

Our children need everyone who comes into our school to strongly believe they have the right to be treated with respect and understand their responsibility to treat others in the same way; it is all of our right to learn and grow in an environment which is respected and cared for with a deep sense of pride and belonging.

KINDNESS

Our children need everyone who comes into our school to strongly believe they have the right to be treated with kindness and to understand their responsibility to be kind to others.

HONESTY

Without honesty there can be no trust. At Grange Primary Academy our children trust everyone who comes into our school because they expect them to be honest.

DETERMINATION

Our children expect everyone in our school to be driven with a strong sense of determination in all that they do so we can all achieve our very best.

COURAGE

Our children need everyone in our school to have the courage to make and learn from their mistakes; to take risks and challenge themselves to go further; higher!

RESPONSIBILITY

Our children expect everyone in our school to have a strong sense of moral responsibility for their own choices and actions and the impact these have on our school and our local, national and global communities.

INDEPENDENCE

Our children need everyone in our school to have the confidence to be independent learners with a strong sense of what they, as an individual leader in learning, can contribute to our team so that our school community can enable each and every one of its members to be the very best they can be!
